Chapter Nine: Mr. Mackenzie Was Darth Vader in Disguise
"Oh, c'mon! Wake up from your dream," Rubin said.
When Robin opened his eyes, he was dreaming a nightmare. But he was still in the hospital.
"Oh, I get it! I injured myself after my ski tripped on a rock. Also, I tumbled all the way down to Nicole's house!" Robin exclaimed.
Rubin stared at him.
"That's it?" Rubin asked.
"Yeah," Robin said.
"Don't tell me that you're going skiing after a week later," Rubin said.
"Rubin, my dream is absolutely horrible! I am an Easter bunny there? No way!" Robin said in a British accent.
Rubin rolled his eyes. He check his watch and said, "Oops, I gotta go. See you sometimes, Robin."
After that, Robin relaxed on the bed. He wanted to ski next week.
"It's going to be fun," A voice in Robin's mind said.
"Yeah, it is," Robin answered.
A week later, he started skiing.
"Robin! I told you not to ski because you haven't fully recovered!" Bethany cried.
"Sorry Beth! I had to do this!" Robin said as he skied down the snowy hill.
The ski suddenly flew after it launch in a slope. Robin did a nose grab before it landed on the ground.
"Woah, that hare did an awesome ski-boarding!" A man cried.
After Robin's ski stop moving. Everyone cheered.
"Thank you, all!" Robin said in a British accent.
The girls squealed after they heard Robin spoke.
Robin laughed but he soon slowed down after he saw a ski got a pattern like his.
"Hey, those were my skis!" Robin shouted.
"Nope," The man said.
"Hey, it's mine!" Robin shouted as he pulled the man's ski.
"No! It's mine! You got yours there!" The man said as he pointed the spot where Robin landed.
"I know but it got the same pattern!" Robin said in a British accent accidentally.
"Give me that!" The man said as he pulled the ski away from him. "Let me tell you something! If someone got the same clothes, ski, or anything you've got. It was probably bought in a certain place like this."
"You mean, my ski was bought here?" Robin asked.
"I guess so, my boy. Since there are several skis with the same pattern in the Ski Shop," The man said.
"Alright, I understand," Robin said.
"By the way, who are you?" The man asked.
"I'm Robin Andrew Mackenzie," Robin said. "And you are?"
The man laughed, "I'm John Mackenzie. Bethany's dad."
"D-Dad?" Robin stuttered.
Mr. Mackenzie chuckled, "Yes, son. I am your father."
"Sorry, dad, for pulling your ski away from you," Robin said.
"Perhaps we actually swap skis because I sense that your ski is longer than mine," Mr. Mackenzie said.
