Chapter Four: Mom, I'm Home!
"You know, Robert," Bethany said, "I think I need to talk to my brother right now."
"Alright!" Robert said, "I'll meet you tomorrow."
Robert left the hall as Bethany watched him.
Bethany turned to Robin and said, "Don't ever pull out a raspberry in front of me and Robert!"
"Eheh..." Robin chuckled nervously.
"Let's go home now." Bethany said as she pulled Robin in the hand.
"Bethany, I'm sorry." Robin said sadly.
"Watch your actions, young man." Bethany replied.
Robin sighed as he continued walking.
Bethany and Robin went outside the school and walked home.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Mackenzie was cleaning the table when Bethany knocked on the door.
"Come in!" Mrs. Mackenzie called.
Bethany opened the door and gently closed it.
"Why, hello there, Beth!" Mrs. Mackenzie exclaimed, "How's school?"
"Robin messed up some of my times but he also help me giving some hints and answers during class." Bethany said.
"Wow, that's really good," Mrs. Mackenzie said as she gave her daughter a kiss on the cheek, "What grade did you get?"
"I got a grade B+!" Bethany said.
"B+? As in Bethany?" Mrs. Mackenzie joked.
Both of them laugh as Robin went to his room. He removed his casual clothes and lain down in bed.
"Why am I a hare, not a person?" Robin mumbled to himself.
What he could remember in his past was when he lived hole, a really dark underground hole. He was an ordinary hare who live in the forest. He got adopted by Mr. Mackenzie when one of his friends told him to shoot Robin. Mr. Mackenzie is really kind to animals and doesn't want to shoot poor Robin. So he took the little hare home and treated him as his own son.
"I should be living in the wild not in the city!" Robin said to himself.
He once became sad again when he realized that he cannot remember where does he live.
Robin stared at the window. The sky is still bright like morning.
He doesn't know what to do this afternoon, so he just went to sleep.
