Chapter Seven: Who's This Hare?
"So, you're only a typical hare, not a superstar?" Alvin repeated.
"Yeah." Robin said.
Alvin pouted as he folded his arms.
"I know!" Robin exclaimed, "What if you call that famous Robin and tell him to go to a corner? Then I can talk to him! Better yet, we can swap places!"
"Okay?" Alvin said.
"Alvin, let's go home." Dave said.
"Go home already?" Alvin said, "I just talked to Robin in a very short time!"
"Alvin!"
"Can I please have one more time?"
"AAAAAALLLLLLVVVVVVVVIIIIIIIINNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!"
Alvin sighed as he slouched. He sadly walked to Dave.
"That's okay, bro." Simon said as he patted Alvin's back.
Dave and the three chipmunks walked outside and closed the door.
Later that night, Bethany and Mrs. Maxwell were having dinner when Robin sang flatly.
"What's that horrible singing?" Bethany cried.
Bethany stood up and went to her room. She found Robin singing badly while playing air guitar.
"Robin!" Bethany cried, "What are you doing?"
Robin stopped screaming and smiled awkwardly.
"Well, I was only testing my superstar voice." Robin said.
Bethany grunted as she went back to the kitchen.
"Beth," Mrs. Mackenzie said, "What is Robin doing?"
"Testing his superstar voice." Bethany said.
"Oh well." Mrs. Mackenzie sighed as she continued eating.
Meanwhile in the bed room, Robin's cellphone rang and he answered it.
"Hello? This is Robin Mackenzie speaking." Robin said.
"Hello Robin, I have some great news!" A chipmunk voice cried.
"Alvin?" Robin asked.
"Yes!" Alvin said, "The superstar is coming to the city!"
"You mean, the superstar me?"
"Yep."
"Oh, great! I gotta get him and we'll swap place."
"Good luck then!"
After that, Alvin hung the phone.
"Finally!" Robin hissed.
"Yeah." Robin said.
Alvin pouted as he folded his arms.
