Chapter One: Winter is Boring
One winter morning, everyone was enjoying the season, except for Robin Mackenzie, who was watching TV in the his family's log cabin.
"Ugh, winter is boring," Robin groaned.
"Robin! Winter is fun!" Bethany, his sister, shouted.
"Whatever, I'll just watch TV," Robin said.
Bethany stared at him. She grabbed the remote and turned the TV off.
"Hey, that show was a Christmas special!" Robin shouted.
Bethany rolled her eyes, "You must enjoy the season. Try skiing."
Robin turned blue. Skiing is one of the activities he hated.
"Not skiing!" Robin screamed.
Bethany put Ski goggles on him and made him hold his skis. After that, she kicked him out.
"Stupid skis," Robin murmured.
Suddenly, he got an idea.
"Maybe I can try going to Nicole O'Hare's house with these," Robin said to himself.
He put on the skis and pressed down the skiing sticks on the snow. Suddenly, a wind blew his back and the ski started moving.
"HEEEEEELLLLPPPP!!!" Robin shouted when the ski started going down the hill.
His ski suddenly tripped on a rock and he tumbled down. Snow started forming in his body until a large snowball running down replaced him.
Meanwhile, Nicole was cooking fondue when she heard rumbling.
"What's that noise?" Nicole wondered.
A loud crash crashed on her house. It was the giant snowball. Robin popped his head and he started chattering.
"Robin! Are you alright?" Nicole panicked when she opened the door.
"I'm fine but I think I lost those 'ski rowers'," Robin said.
"Maybe you should drink soup inside my house," Nicole said as she helped Robin stand up.
Robin smiled as they entered the log cabin.
