Chapter Twelve: Speed Writer
Elizabeth rolled her eyes and waited for the teacher.
Suddenly the classroom door opened and it was Ms. Adams. Everyone except Robin and Rubin stood up.
"Class, you may sit down now." Ms. Adams said.
The students once sat down again.
"Rubin! How many times I told you to stand up!" Elizabeth hissed.
"Sorry." Robin said.
"Elizabeth, to whom are you talking to?" Ms. Adams asked her.
"Rubin Maximus, a hare superstar," Elizabeth boasted, "He's famous around the world and always get world tours. He likes composing songs or signing autographs. He already got a Facebook page and a Wikipedia article!"
Everyone laughed so hard about Elizabeth's "speech".
"We don't know that famous hare you're talking about!" A boy said.
"That's me!" Robin said as he stood up.
Everyone laughed harder and louder.
"SILENCE!" Ms. Adams shouted.
Soon the laughs turned into giggles.
"Now class, we will learn about Math." Ms. Adams said.
Everyone, except Bethany, Robin and Rubin, groaned.
Ms. Adams gave each student a work sheet for them to study.
"This is easy!" Robin and Rubin mumbled.
Everyone started answering the work sheet. Rubin answered all multiplications and division without thinking while Robin answered all the easy problems and got stuck with the multiplication.
Rubin stood up and submitted the work sheet.
"That was fast, Robin," Ms. Adams said, "Are you sure you did this all by yourself?"
"Yep!" Rubin said.
Bethany and Elizabeth were startled and their jaws dropped.
Rubin returned to his seat while Robin stood up and submitted his work sheet.
"Did you do this all by yourself or you cheated?" Ms. Adams asked him.
"I did it without cheating." Robin said.
"Hmm...it's pretty good." Ms. Adams said.
Elizabeth was surprised when she saw that Robin and Rubin were good at math.
Robin returned to his seat and waited for the students to finish.
Bethany stood up and submitted her work sheet.
"Hmm..Some of the answers were wrong but most of them are correct." Ms. Adams said.
"I tried my best to do it." Bethany said as she smiled.
Bethany returned to her seat and waited for students to finish.
Elizabeth rolled her eyes and answered random numbers in her work sheet. She stood up and submitted her work sheet.
"Elizabeth!" Ms. Adams shouted, "Every answer is wrong! You'll get a F!"
"I don't care." Elizabeth said as she tossed her hair in the air.
Elizabeth returned to her seat as she waited for other students to finish.
Minutes later, students submitted their work sheets.
Ms. Adams checked each work sheet, some of them are wrong, right, or even empty.
