Chapter Eighteen: Show Time!
The next morning, a telephone rang.
"Hello?" Robin answered sleepily.
"Rubin, come here now!" A man's voice said, "You're gonna practice your singing!"
"Alright, alright." Robin said.
He took a shower, changed his clothes, fixed his hair and went outside.
"Now what shall I ride?" Robin thought.
He suddenly spotted a motorcycle.
"Oh yeah!" Robin said.
He put on Rubin's helmet and rode the motorcycle.
Soon, he arrived in a building.
"So this where he practice his concerts." Robin muttered.
He ran to the building and saw Rubin's crews.
"Are you ready, kid?" The man said.
"Yes." Robin answered.
Robin practiced singing, playing music, and dancing. He kept doing this until two weeks later, where he will perform on stage.
"Now, are you ready to rock the stage?" The man said.
"Yes!" Robin said.
Robin went outside and stood at the stage.
"Are you ready, people?" Robin shouted.
The people answered, "Yes!"
Robin hit the stage. And by 7:00 PM, the concert is over.
"That was awesome!" Robin said.
Suddenly, his cellphone rang.
"Hello?" Robin answered.
"Robin, you rock on that stage!" A voice cried.
"Rubin?" Robin whispered.
"Yes, it is me," Rubin said, "I think you're better than me."
Robin suddenly felt sad, he knew that Rubin should be performing, not him.
"Robin?" Rubin said.
Robin hung the phone as he walked away sadly.
"What's the matter, boy?" The man asked.
"Heartbroken, guilty, and angry." Robin thought.
The next day, Robin was featured in various magazines, in news, and in merchandises.
"Here you go!" Robin said as he gave the magazine he autograph.
"Thanks!" The boy said as he left.
Just then, a chipmunk wearing a red hoodie climbed up the table.
"Alvin?" Robin mumbled.
"Can you give me another autograph?" Alvin said.
"Actually, this is Robin, the real Robin." Robin whispered.
"Robin?" Alvin said, "Is that really you?"
"Yes," Robin said, "Me and the Robin superstar switched places."
"Where's the original superstar?"
"In America."
Alvin gasped but instead of panicking, he just gave his magazine.
Robin rolled his eyes and signed the magazine.
"Thanks." Alvin hissed.
