Chapter One: You're Late For School!
One morning, somewhere in New York, a girl named Bethany, who was just 11years old, just got dressed up for school.
"Beth, you'll be late for school!" Mrs. Mackenzie cried.
"Wait Mom!" Bethany cried, "Robin is still changing his clothes!"
The little hare dressed up in his nerdy clothes. His name was Robin, Bethany's brother who was a hare.
"Robin, hurry up!" Bethany cried.
"Alright! Alright!" Robin said as he wore his glasses.
Robin shook his fur as he jumped on the floor.
"You're a tall rabbit, Robin." Bethany said.
"I'm not a rabbit!" Robin angrily said, "I'm a hare!"
"You're a hair?" Bethany joked as she pulled up a strand of her blonde hair.
"No, no, no," Robin shook his head, "I mean H-A-R-E!"
"Bethany, Robin!" Mrs. Mackenzie called, "The bus is here!"
"Okay, Mom!" Bethany said.
Bethany placed Robin inside her backpack and zipped him in.
"Why do I need to be inside in this stupid backpack." Robin mumbled.
Bethany went to the living room and kissed her mother's cheek.
"See you later, Mom!" Bethany cried.
"Bye, Beth," Mrs. Mackenzie said as she wave goodbye, "Watch out for strangers!"
"Okay, Mom!" Bethany said as she hastily went outside and rode the bus.
When Bethany arrived in her school, she took a deep breath to smell the natural air.
"Ah..." Bethany said, "The first day of middle school."
Robin also smelled the fresh air through the fishnet backpack. The air brushed his soft brown fur and the sun sparkled through his gentle blue eyes.
"Hey, Bettie!" A voice called.
"Hello Robert," Bethany said, "How's your day?"
"It's fine! I just got an A+ in Math yesterday." Robert said.
"Wow, that's really awesome, Robert!" Bethany exclaimed
"Just call me Robin." Robert chuckled.
Robert and Bethany laughed. Robin heard the conversation and got jealous.
"Robin is his nickname?" Robin thought, "That's my name! Robin Andrew Mackenzie!"
"By the way, Robert," Bethany sighed, "I need to go."
"Alright then." Robert said, "Catch you later.
